Side Module
With our side module you get two extra I/O connectors at the right or left side of your Pedalboard. It´s of course possible to mount one module to the left and one to the right side if you like to have your In/Out at the sides.
Between the two *TRS jacks you have an 2.1mm DC-Connector feed thru line. What you plug in you get out on the other side. (Power rating max 2000mA)
The module is configurable (internal DIP-switch) for desired function. You may use the jack for signal In or Out and its possible to set the internal DIP switch so the signal is muted when no cable is plugged in to the Jack.
Another possible configuration for the side module is to flip the DIP switch for a Send / Return function. This will give you an Insert Loop where you may patch in a volume or wah-wah pedal or just an "guest" pedal that you don´t need on your board.
To ensure good quality and reliable connection for your precious tone we use only good quality (Neutrik) connectors for the *TRS lines. The soldering is done with great care and we only use lead-free solder with silver.

Left or Right side mounted on the Pedalboard

2.1mm DC connectors (DC Power Feed Thru, max 2000mA)
This configuration uses normal 1/4" TRS jacks at both sides. The out-side jacks in the side slot are automatically switched (signal muted) when nothing is plugged in. This is perfect for your main (Guitar) input or main signal output since the signal is muted when the cable/plug is pulled out.
Configuration 2 - Insert Loop with True bypass

Jack 1 / SEND (Signal bypassed to RETURN when no cable is plugged in.)
Jack 2 / RETURN (Signal bypassed to SEND when no cable is plugged in.)

This configuration uses normal 1/4" TRS jacks at both sides. The out-side jacks in the side slot are automatically switched (signal bypassed) when nothing is plugged in. This is perfect if you need an insert loop for temporary pedals, wahwah, volume, etc... The DC jack will fit a standard 2,1mm DC connector.
*TRS - The letters TRS stand for Tip, Ring, and Sleeve, and refer to the parts of the jack / plug that the different conductors are connected to. A TRS cable has three conductors vs the two on a standard guitar cable. A guitar cable is a TS, or Tip Sleeve cable. When using a normal TS guitar cable the Ring conductor in the module will act just as another Sleeve (Ground) function and this will not affect the tone in any way.
